I am indebted to Richard Harvey for pointing out this quote from Mark Kinzer's new book:

I concur with Jewish theologian Michael Wyschogrod in contending that a theologically consistent Christian renunciation of supersessionsm demands that Christians take Jewish identity seriously both beyond and within the boundaris of the ecclesia.

After presenting a longer citation from Wyschogrod's book 'Abraham's Promise' (ed. R. Kendall Soulen), Kinzer goes on:

If Christians consider Jewish identity as theologically significant outside the ecclesia, then they should also consider it significant inside.
