A Hypocrite?

Confessions of a Jewish Skeptic,
Sarahbeth Caplin, Createspace, 2016, page 80-81

After describing some features of her Jew-ish Christian wedding, Sarahbeth remarks:

I understand that some people may think this is hypocritical. I have been called a hypocrite for scoffing at Christians playing Jewish while still tighly holding on to my "Jewish Penicillin" soup bowl and blue "Happy Hanukkah" Christmas stocking. My only defence is that Jewish culture was a defining marker of my childhood, and my deep appreciation for it did not - could not - disappear just because I prayed the Sinner's Prayer.
