Christian Teaching I

Seeing Judaism Anew: Christianity's Sacred Obligation,
Ed. Mary C. Boys, Rowman and Littlefield, 2002
Chapter 14, "Covenant and Conversion" (pp. 163-174), page 165

So, Joann summaries what she sees as major points of Christian teaching. Let's see if we agree with her:

At the heart of the great good news of Christianity is the recognition that G-d's love is faithful, unconditional and inclusive. We must not suggest that there are limits to G-d's love. Divine love has no such boundaries: G-d does not promise to love us only if we are worthy; rather, G-d reaches out to sinners. It is on this love that Christians must rely.

I'm wary about that word 'inclusive', but I'm probably prepared to let the rest go unchallenged for now. What about you?
