Anti-Jewish Church Council Decrees

Awakening the One New Man,
Ed. Robert F. Wolff, Destiny Image, 2011, page 94

Dan Juster, in the article, "Denominations, Messianic Jews and the One New Man", wrote:

Anti-Jewishness was not codified in a universal Church Council until Nicea II in 787 CE. However, the separation of the Gentile Church from its Jewish roots had been moving toward outright rejection and exclusion for many centuries. Regional councils did make such the law of the churches for their regions, including Alvira, Spain in 306-307 CE and Antioch in 316 CE. The tone of anti-semitism in these decrees was quite stunning.
