This splendid work was produced in the early years of the
20th century by three eminent
scholars: Francis Brown, S. Driver and Charles Briggs, and has
stayed in print ever since. For many years it has been
considered the best of the available lexicons, but has fallen a
little out of favour recently due to the newer scholarship of
current times. It is nevertheless an extremely comprehensive
and useful book at an extremely good price - we recommend it to
all those interested in biblical Hebrew.
